“DA SIGN & THE OPPOSITE” vs “7 DOLLAR TAXI”

An diesem einmaligen Abend kommt es zu einem musikalischen Duell, das Genregrenzen sprengt und Stilrichtungen überwindet: Beim Red Bull Soundclash stehen sich die Berner Giele von Da Sign & The Opposite und 7 Dollar Taxi aus Luzern gegenüber – ein Kampf in Stereo, der niemanden umbringt, aber hoffentlich alle umhaut.

Von zwei Bühnen aus gespielt, prallen über den Köpfen des Publikums die Live-Qualitäten und Improvisationskünste beider Bands zusammen. Vier Runden lang, Ton um Ton, Akkord um Akkord und dies alles im Namen der Unterhaltung. Denn die Crowd kürt die Gewinner der Herzen per Applaus. Zusammen mit zwei MCs heizen The Famous Goldfinger Brothers zusätzlich ein und führen Bands und Publikum durch die Runden mit immer wieder neuen Herausforderungen.

“Selten biegt eine Platte die Mundwinkel so steil nach oben  [...] Mit irrsinnigen Künstlernamen [...] pressen die Berner pseudocoolen Club-Rap, Synthie-Pop der 80er und zeitgenössischen Electro-Rock in den Fleischwolf und ziehen dabei dem prätentiösen Kommerzpop die Unterhosen, beziehungsweise den BH runter [....] Während nämlich Black Eyed Peas ihr debiles “Boom Boom Pow” todernst in die Clubs der Welt posaunen, wissen Da Sign & The Opposite bestens Bescheid über die ironische Bedeppertheit ihrer Lyrics.
